Weekend Ramblings for November 2, 2020

While your eating Halloween candy for dinner, take a few minutes to catch up with me in this week's Weekend Ramblings. For a better break down of the ramblings, listen to this week's podcast that goes right along with the ramblings. Click here to listen.

1. Sunday’s are good!

2. Streaming is good but in person is better.

3. I am ready for Covid-19 to be over.

4. Davis was tested for Covid-19 and strep this week.

5. Test results were negative, but the doctor still quarantined him for safety.

6. We’ve had a few meals delivered from good friends.

7. I’m not a huge Halloween fan but having to tell Davis he couldn’t go out was a bummer.

8. Davis is almost always a great sport of handling challenges.

9. It had been so long since I ordered Domino’s that I didn’t know there was a $6 delivery fee.

10. I have worked a lot from home this week to be with Davis.

11. I was able to get a ton of church work done at home.

12. Speaking on stewardship can have its challenges.

13. Live in light that everything we have belongs to God.

14. I was late for the 11:00am service.

15. Communion is a special time at church.

16. You need to be a part of Operation Christmas Child. Grab a shoebox or two or even twenty-two!

17. Continuing to pray how we can go beyond our four walls to reach people.

18. It’s hard not to be an inside-focused church during a pandemic.

19. Kids and student ministry numbers are rising every week. Welcome back!

20. Ever watch Dr. Pimple Popper? Saw it briefly as I was flipping through channels. Wowza. Ewwww!

21. Looking forward to beginning our Esther series this Sunday.

22. We set up a serve opportunities board for our church to see how they can use their time and talent.

23. You should take our Time, Talent, and Treasure Survey online. It’s thought-provoking! Click here!

24. Also, don’t know your spiritual gifts? Click here as well.

25. Join me for an online chat about our time, talent, and treasure at our Facebook page this Tuesday, November 3 at 7:00pm. It’ll be better than watching the networks.
